Getting to Koh Phangan
There are several ways to get to the beautiful island of Koh Phangan.
The easiest way is to fly into Koh Samui Airport, take a shuttle to the fast ferry, which takes around 30 minutes until you arrive at your destination.
Travelling With a Vehicle
If you are driving to Koh Phangan from the mainland, you will need to take the Raja Ferry from Donsak. This is a two and half hour ferry ride to Thong Sala, Koh Phangan.
On a Budget
If you are travelling on a budget, there are two options.
The first option is to fly into Surat Thani Airport, take the shuttle to Donsak and get on either the Raja Ferry or Seatran Ferry. We suggest taking the Raja Ferry, as it has more ferries scheduled per day.
Alternatively, you can take either a bus, van, or train to Surat Thani and then get yourself a taxi or van to Donsak and the ferry of your choice.
Arriving on Koh Phangan
When you first arrive on Koh Phangan, you’ll find yourself in the city of Thong Sala.
After departing the ferry, you’re now ready to begin driving to Cottage Gardens.
